First of all, let me preface this post. I am very concerned, conservative man and I am worried about what the United States will look like on November 5, 2008.
I am not concerned about how other people worship God, or even if they don't, but I believe in God, and worship, as I believe that most of members here do, irregardless of what church home they visit. I don't see color, as I believe we are all Americans, period.
I was listening to Denver Talk Radio this morning, and Peter Boyles had Terry Anderson, a conservative Black talk show host on. He was talking about B. Hussein Obama's church, and what they had on their website regarding what they believed in. They make no bones about the fact that they are Black first and Americans second! Not wanting to form a conclusion until I have checked all of the facts, I Googled it, and found the website.
I will let you make up your own mind, and if you want to see the website first hand, check it out.

Not a whole lot scares me, but I am really worried this time. The bold statements below are right off of their website.
I will let you make your own conclusions.

We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian... Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.
The Pastor as well as the membership of Trinity United Church of Christ is committed to a 10-point Vision:
A congregation committed to ADORATION.
A congregation preaching SALVATION.
A congregation actively seeking RECONCILIATION.
A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA.
A congregation committed to BIBLICAL EDUCATION.
A congregation committed to CULTURAL EDUCATION.
A congregation committed to the HISTORICAL EDUCATION OF AFRICAN PEOPLE IN DIASPORA.
A congregation committed to LIBERATION.
A congregation committed to RESTORATION.
A congregation working towards ECONOMIC PARITY.
