Nothing I can do about it, but I'm not jumping for joy, either.
There's one primary reason for buying out another competitor's business; to cut the competition.
When you own all the big names, you can set your own prices, set your own quality standards, and so forth.
IOW, you make the rules, and others WILL accept it because there's really no other choice.
Doubt that? Look at the shortage of ammo we've had for the last 14-16 months. Think most people are picky about what kind of ammo they're buying? They're happy to get anything at all so that they can go shooting and hunting.
And I'm not saying it'll necessarily get bad with low quality and high prices, but the bean counters are out to make the most money with the least amount of effort.
That's business these days.
