Hey guys, long time lurker first time poster. I did a search as best I could to no avail. I was hoping someone could provide me a good load accuracy wise for a 62 grain TSX with H4895 or TAC. Any information is MUCH appreciated as the pills are pricey lol.

Thanks!

Is your rifle a 1-9" twist or faster?

My Barnes Reloading Manual Number 4 shows Varget as the most Most Accurate load for the 223 Remington with the Barnes 62 gr TSX bullet.

The Barnes Manual shows 22.5 grains of H4895 as the Minimum load 2876 fps and 24.5 gr of H4895 as the Maximum load at 3034 fps in 223 Rem using the 62 gr TSX bullet.

C.O.A.L. is 2.250"

I had the best luck using max loads of H4895 seated deep, like .05" off the lands, in a BCM with a 5.56 chamber.

Also, make sure your barrel is clean to start and then clean it every 20-30 rounds while your playing with loads.

This is what worked for me, others haven't had issues loading them to mag length or having to clean more often.

I've seen all the factory load data. I was hoping for some data someone had already developed or a pet load they found that works well. I've got some 28% ammonia for copper cleaning solvent that I intend to cut before I use. I have an ST-15 mid length with a 1:7 twist. Super accurate loads using 77TMK AND TAC. I also have some 8208 XBR as well if anyone has an accurate load for that powde. I'm using 7 1/2 primers

Can't remember the load I shot but actually did pretty good on coyotes. Probably 2900-3000 fps out of a 8 twist 20in barrel. All were drt with little damage. At the time I shot more with the 65gr Gameking at 2850fps and had so so results.
