How pelt friendly is this stuff in 55 gr? Knock down power? It's about the only 223 ammo I can find locally that might work for coyote.
 
What is the barrel twist rate on your 223? Most of the Barnes lead free 55 gr 22 cal bullets need a 1-9" twist or faster barrel to stabilize the very long 55 gr lead free bullets.

They will have plenty of knock down power and should leave a small exit hole most of the time.
 
i did not have very good luck they seemed to pencil through with very little expansion, very little fur damage but that does you no good if they run off. My thoughts are "I'd rather turn a $50 coyote into a $25 with a killing bullet then watch a $50 coyote run off cause I used a fur friendly bullet"
 
That is what I have been kind of worried about. I have been using 45 gr hollow points but on occasion they take out a slab of coyote fur when I hit a shoulder at a bad angle.
