barometric pressure and the role it plays

Good advice as it seems to be local and the times are general so they would off a hair so hunting when can is better then I should of , but I try to time my outings to when it would (hopefully) count from my opservetions of my locality

The phone aps I listed earlier are pretty accurate! Input zipcode you're hunting/fishing, and they'll typically get you within 10 - 15 minutes. Again, they are not infallible, weather patterns can throw them off. But, we've been using those two and tracking movement/bites on HUNDREDS of outings, between the two of us, and I'd give them close to 75+% of time, they're within 15 minutes.

accuweather offers extra options on forecast such as sailing, skiing, hair day, hunting, etc......
never double checked to match up successes or failures with what their forecast said but I have seen them say it would be a good day for snow skiing when there's no snow on the ground.....

I have a Casio hunting timer watch..
Its a pain to set, but amazingly accurate. I was doubtful, but trying to be optomistic about the fathers day gift.
After 2 years of watching it, and mapping its shocking how accurate it is..

when that watch says hunt, i see animals up and moving..

I hunt when i can hunt and ignore the watch.. But find that most of the time that i am holding a coyote, the watch was right on.

my observations seem to indicate they don't move because their pray isn't moving.

They don't waste energy if there is nothing out to eat. They seem to know when its coming and hunt hard, hunker down and not move until it passes, then they are out in force hungry right after.
