Bear Necessity

This year, for whatever reason, we have an over abundance of bears. They seem to be everywhere, every night. Not enough bear meat loving hunters I guess.
Yeah Bob, just waiting on a passerby. They use the area frequently as a hunting ground as there are plenty of mice. Saw two with the thermal on opening day but they trotted thru some real heavy cover with no chance for a shot. Not calling yet. Not confident enough.
Deer are moving big time here. Bucks already sniffing and chasing does so a road kill is just days away. Was following a car the other day that JUST MISSED a nice 8 that ran across in front of the guy. Would have been a shame but he would have fed some coyotes for sure. If he keeps that up I’ll be picking him up in short order.
