I'd go with Mossberg 835 and have in the past, but yes, hard to beat a semiauto from Benelli or Beretta

I have the 835 and never had any problems. I also have a sbe ii. I know it's not on the list but its a semi auto. I was hunting one day with the sbe ii and I bumped the gun against something and it caused the round to not fire and the yote got away. Now I only use the sbe ii for crows and I use the 835 for yotes and turkeys. 99 percent of time I only use one shot. When I need that one shot to always fire after humping through the woods/brush at night I use the 835. I can't be loading rounds in the woods or re-chambering rounds....too much noise. If I was hunting just a field and got an easy setup I would go with semi auto. Also. The sbe ii was way over priced.
