Benelli shotguns

My LH Camo SBE 1 has been rode hard and put away wet since '97 and has never missed a lick. I duck hunted a lot in the salt marshes up until a year ago and it still looks and works like new. I prefer a 20 ga for dove and quail but when I need a 12 ga, it gets the nod.

I had the Montefeltro 90 in a left handed model. After it broke and having to fight with Benelli for 6 months to get it fixed the next time it broke I got rid of it but nearly got all my money back. I will probrably not own another. I have friends who have them and have had zero problems. My issue is their service is the worst that I have ever experienced. The gun was only 4 months old the 1st time it came apart and they tryed to charge me to fix it when it was obvious that it was defective. My local dealer had to to get the local rep involved for me to get it covered.

I have a Benelli M1 Super 90. It's a shooter and a great brush gun with it's 18" tube.

My buddy has been shooting Benelli's for years. I swear he has never cleaned that thing in all these years and it just keeps on shootin............. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

The only problem I have with the Benelli SBE is that it isn't a Beretta Xtrema 2!!!!

Seriously, I like the Xtrema better, but you won't go worng with either. The outdoor writers I ahve hunted with don;t like the kick of the old Benelli's but I haven't heard yet on the new recoil system?

You can not argue with the happy customers though, and there are plenty!

I have been using Benelli Montifeltros and an M1 for about 6-7 years. No complaints at all. Mine are used for upland game but the M1 was set up for night calling with #4buck.

You may consider a stoeger knockoff of the benelli, they were produced in Turkey i believe. Benelli found it easier and cheaper to buy the company than sue them. They are mechanically the same but much much cheaper if that is a consideration, I use my benelli on coyotes , an m1 super 90, I think it is great, if multiple coyotes come in you can get them all with a little luck.

I have a Benelli Legacy 12ga and I love it, I am going to buy another Benelli in 20ga this year "Performance worth the Price" says it all!!! Best autoloaders made!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
