Beretta A391 Xtrema2

I am just starting into coyote, I have a chance on a Xtrema2 with KO and was wondering what your ideas are for use as a coyote shotgun? All I have now is a Mossberg 500 and I can get a pretty good deal on the used Xtrema.

What choke tubes are available for these Patternmaster, Deadcoyote etc? probably just use #4

Outstanding shotgun!!! I had one..not the KO though..and it was my dedicated turkey gun. It was still very light recoiling. Only reason I traded it was because I got a killer deal on a Benelli SBE2 left handed.

Several companies make tubes for the Extrema 2...just make sure they are for the Optima+(plus) IF I still had mine, I would use it for coyote in a heartbeat. Sorry I dont have load info for you for coyote...but for turkey the Rhino tube with heavy13 #6's in 3.5 inch shells was awesome.
 
I just purchased a Beretta Xtrema II with the Kick -Off System for my dad about three weeks ago. He put a Carlson's Dead Coyote Choke on it and is getting fantastic patterns out to 50 yards using both #4 buck and Dead Coyote T shot.

I tested the Xtrema a while back along with a bunch of others when looking for a new semi-auto shotgun. I really liked the Beretta and it functioned perfectly for me. I went another way, but only because the other shotgun fit my broad list of intended uses better (for me).

The only thing I didn't get a chance to test with the Xtrema was if it handles light loads well or not. Maybe others could chime in on 7/8 oz - 1 oz loads with the Beretta.
 
It's gas operated so it should handle the lighter loads just fine. I do know that some manufacturer's put a disclaimer on a lot of the waterfowl guns about how light of a shell it can shoot. I have shot dove loads through a broken in Xtrema 2

Its a slightly used about 150 rds and is the HD camo pattern for $1000. Guess I will have to start buying ammo to pattern the factory choke tubes and then decide on a aftermarket.
