Bergara B14 Premier HMR .300 Win mag stock upgrade

Anybody know if the Premier series B14 from bergara is still a drop-in fit for 700 footprint stocks? I want to dump the factory HMR stock and plastic bottom metal for something with less "tactical" feel. I cant seem to find much info on this and dont want to invest in a $800 stock/bottom metal combo only to find it needs a bunch of work
 
To answer your question yes they are a 700 footprint I just put one of these in a manners mini chassis stock. Fit was perfect

Just to verify, You are talking the Premier model, not the standard correct? 416 Stainless barreled action and fluted bolt?

I called a few stock companies and nobody seems to know for sure
 
Yes I have a premiere series stainless steel black ceracoted rifle. It was the hmr stock but I couldn't ever get it to fit me the was I wanted. so I switched it to a MCS T with mini chassis with a Heavy Palma barrel channel and its a perfect fit. Since there a 700 foot print I ordered it for a remington 700 and put it together. I had the same problem nobody would commit to it would fit so I just picked the parts I wanted and done.
 
Gotcha, really good info. Thank you for that. I too do not like the HMR stock as I am used to more sporter profiles with traditional grips. Might look weird on such a long, heavy rifle but I think it will get used more that way. Thank you very much for the insight!
