Best aftermarket AR trigger

The AR Gold is the only way to go.They make them for the AR15 and the AR308.All of the ones I have installed you can get to 1 pound 10 ounces and sometimes a few ounces lower.

I have the Geissele hi-speed super match (the lightest 2 stage they make). It is adjustable but it worked so well out of the box that I left it alone. If you want a 2 stage, they can't be beat.

The RRA 2 stage is great for the money but not in the same league as the Geissele. I have the RRA 2 stage in my other lower.

and i had no idea the ar gold trigger could be so light

Well I just ordered an AR Gold to compare to the Hispeed Match and DMR triggers I use. I hope I don't regret spending the money lol.

I read that it might not work with my BAD-[beeep] ST selectors, I'm hoping that isn't the case.

I had a Timney before replacing it with a Geissele, I think you'd like the Hispeed Match trigger. I couldn't get over the little bit of creep the Timney has, as well as its weak hammer fall.

We'll see if the AR Gold changes my opinion.

We'll see if the AR Gold changes my opinion. i hear ya on the tiny bit of creep the timney has,as for the weak hammer fall i never noticed that before and ive never had any problems igniting milspec primers or cci # 400 small rifle primers in my reloads. ive been thinking about trading in my oracle for a 308 ar or maybe a glock 21 and some change back or i might sell it and finish off my bcm m4gery ive been slowly building. sometimes having brd isnt a good thing lol

I had some light strikes with mine, not a lot but more than I liked. I didn't think it was hitting light until I tried a Geissele, their hammers fall with authority.
No kidding about BRD, my main focus lately is to get a bolt rifle in 223 but I keep finding myself messing with ARs

I have 2 CMC triggers. Both break at around 2lbs. 10oz. measured on a Lyman digital gauge. Price on both was under 160.00 new.

You might also consider the Lucas trigger available from Predator Masters sponsor Predator Technology Group. SnowmanMo had some available during the convention and they were pretty slick - on-piece drop-in, single stage, three-pound triggers. I ended up having him install one in my AR Friday night. Pretty decent price and the opportunity to support one of our own.

Very well said !!

i think any aftermarket trigger is going to be better than a base ar/LPK triggers.

that being said. i love my geissele single stage, but i also prefer single stage.

i would see if you want 1 or 2 stage and go from there. timney or geissele would be my go tos.
