best copper remover

Ditto on Montana Extreme here too. I have also used Sweets, Butch's, Shooter Choice, Wipe Out. I still use the Wipe tho, especially to get the inital fouling out, then it's the Montana stuff from there on.

There both are very good.
Also a little of JB bore paste once in awhile works really good in getting that last little bit of the harden copper out.
 
I've used the Sweets, Butch's and the Hoppes Copper Remover and spent many hours cleaning. Surprisingly, though, the Outers Foaming Bore Cleaner you can purchase at Wally World for $6.88 works easier, faster and oderless.
 
I have used 7.62, shooters choice, wipe out, hoppes, outers foam and I will tell you Wipe Out foam is the best stuff.The Outers works good too. No odor, easy, just squirt it in and let it set for about a 1/2 hour, swab it out. No scrubbing involved. The stuff is great. There is also a wipeout accelorater you can buy out of Midway which helps the process along. It smells like citrus.

I have spent hours even days scrubbing my barrels in the past, but now its done in about 1/2 hour. Gotta try the stuff. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
