Best hearing protection for shooting and hunting?

i have a walkers game ear that i used for the first time this season. worked pretty well. although it sucked on the day when it warmed up and the snow was dripping from the trees. talk about sensory overload.

at one point i had a little button buck 30-35 yds in front of me eating acorns and i could hear him chewing. *crunch* *crunch* *crunch*

I use Pro Ears Gold with the 30NRR noise reduction. I mostly use them when I am RSO'ing at our indoor range 2-3 times a week, and for my own shooting 1-2 times a week. I think they work great, I can hear people talk and it blocks out the gun fire. These are my first electronic muffs so I can't compare to any others, they were a bit spendy, but I like them and they work good. Good Luck on whatever you buy.
