im needing to buy a barrel in .223 for my ar.. 16 or 18 inch hbar prefered..my bull barrels just too heavy but i dont want a standard m4 barrel.im looking for somewhere cheap...thanks for any info

Rainier Arms

They sell White Oak barrels, of which I have two. 16" and 18" mid length, both superb shooters.

They also have an entire series under their own name that I suspect is actually a Black Hole Weaponry barrel done to Rainier specs but that's only a hunch for me.

They're close by for me. Their showroom is where I go if the front of my shirt is too dry, and where I buy 90% of my AR parts.

Bought a 16" mid weight barrel from here for my build. Still need to put my upper together and shoot it but I have only heard great things about these barrels

Excellent advice here.

That's a great price if you want a $135 barrel.

I was under the impression you wanted something to shoot as well as your bull barrels but be lighter.

Barrels are like optics. Buy once, cry once.

I'd love to have a show room that close...my wife would hate it, though!

I've never heard of a Black Hole barrel NOT shooting well. And they don't hold onto copper, clean very easy. The Poly-Rifling may not be magic, but it sure is nice.

It's a Seattle Thing. They think it rains up there

We sell Rainier Arms Select Barrels. VERY nice barrels for the money. We sell them for the same price as Rainier, except you also get free shipping
