Best Powder measurer?

Are you interested in a measure like the RCBS Chargemaster exclusively? Or, are you open to a conventional measure?
I don't have a RCBS Chargemaster, however I did buy one for my son who shoots High Powder Competetively. He shoots 50 times as much ammo as I shoot. He loves it.
If you are interested in a conventional measure, then there are MANY good measures on the market. I have a Harrell's-Culver measure that I use. However, other measures like the one Neil Jones, and Les Bruno make are excellent, along with the Redding Benchrest measure.
My thinking is, if a measure is made with tight tolerances, it will deliver consistent charges, no matter who makes it. It's up to the operator to do his thing in consistently working the handle, and charges will come out as best as possible. Being a throw light-trickle up guy, it doesn't make much difference what good measure I have. I just throw a few tenths light, and the trickler takes over.
 
I have 2 30yr old RCBS powder measures and they throw very consistantly to this date. I just loaded up another 500 rnds .45acp and rechecked every 50 throws and not 1 change.
These have the "old" style micrometer adjuster in them.
 
Ok now this one is really out of left field.

My absolute favorite powder measure to use is the lee auto disc. Even though it throws small charges on a single throw, if you use math you can get pretty darn close to your intended weight. For instance 25.5 gr of h335 takes either three throws of a certain cavity, 28 takes 4 throws. Every time I check weights its [beeep] amazing just how good a job it does.
For what its worth, the more a charge is divided up, the closer it tends to be to the intended weight ie, three .53 cc throws tends to be more consistant than one 1.57 cc throw. but in reality, both methods yeild decent results.

For a cost effective quality measure the Lee Perfect Powder Measure is unbeatable . I have had one for many years and it throws very accurate charges especally with large IMR type Powders ( Better known os "RAT TURDS" ). I also have a Redding 3BR and a Forester.Both work well but are no more accurate than the Lee .
 
I use a Pact system for rifle loads, the Redding pro beam for pistol loads. The Redding varies vary little, so when loading a bunch of .38sp I only weigh every 10-20 always consistant if you keep the powder level up. I think I may go to the RCBS if it is faster, plus the unloading option is a plus.
