2 thumbs up!

In addition to Blair's book, "Predator Hunting" by Ron Spommer, "Coyote Hunting" by Phil Simonski and "The Coyote Hunter" by Laubach/Griswold/Henkel.

I have a bunch and you can take away a little something from all of them.

Another good one is Tebbe's DVD "So you want to be a Predator Caller" is a good learning source.

I bought a lot of Coyote books when I first started calling Coyotes 30+ years ago. Haven’t bought one for Probably 12 years. Last one I bought was “Coyote Man” written by and about Ray Alcorn from Nevada with the help of Major Boddicker.

A list of the ones I bought Years ago
1) Professional Predator Hunting by Ed Sceery 1979
2) Predator Callers Companion by Gerry Blair 1981
3) Hunting Predators for Hides and Profit by Wilf Pyle 1985
4) Coyote Hunting The Complete Book: From Head to Tail by Phil Simonski 1994
5) Predator Calling with Gerry Blair by Gerry Blair 1995
6) The Coyote Hunter by Don Laubach,Merv Griswold, Mark Henkel 2000
7) Coyote Man My Life With The Coyotes Ray Alcorn 2007

Those books and a few articles from Fur Fish Game by Bill Austin before he died and that started My Addiction with Calling Coyotes......

I think Bill Austin and Ed Sceery are the main ones to blame for my addiction because they were some of the first that talked about using the Coyotes own voice to call them in....

Several books are available written by Andrew Lewand.

Andrew is a vary accomplished predator hunter from New York ! I have found his books enjoyable to read !

"The School of Hard Knocks".

Reading about coyote hunting helps prepare you, but I don't think anything can compare to actually getting out there and hunting.

If you want to read about it, this site will be a tremendous help to you. There are so many outstanding coyote hunters on here, it's a wonder there are any coyotes left alive, lol.

And, just about everyone will share their tips without reservation.

Thank you all for the responses and input. Funny story, I was talking to my dad about the books I have been buying on Amazon and other ebook apps on huntin yotes and he gave me a nice stash of books and magazines to read. My pop's has been hunting yotes for 30+ years I should have asked him sooner. Thanks again for response and support!

I have Gerry Blaire's book that he gave me. he was quite a guy. I hunted with him near his home in Flagstaff. I had called him for information on hunting the area and he invited us to stop and see him. we did and he invited us to spend the night and go hunting with him next day. we kept in touch for over 30 years. he was a super hunter and one of the nicest men ive ever met. he will be missed.
