Best sling for heavy barreled rifle?

Like the title says, I recently finished a rifle with a synthetic stock and a 26" no. 2 varmint contour barrel with a brake. Carried it all day Sunday and quickly realized I need a better sling.....any suggestions?

I Hate a sling that wont stay up on my shoulder, I tried a few slings leather, poly, and found the reinforced foam rubber that acts like its sticky and wont slip when I carry my heavy barrels. There is nothing worse than having to shift the sling every few steps. As for brands I dont know I bought what felt good without really looking at what brand it is.

I haven't seen them in a while but Uncle Mike's has a black sling that is around an inch/inch-n-quarter wide and has a non slip grip on the back side in the shoulder area. Doesn't try to ride off, hangs on and wasn't very expensive either. The claws have worked well too. They have differant shapes, I like the one that bulges in the middle. I have a problem with wider slings trying to roll off and constantly trying to keep it on my shoulder.

Just got a Kifaru Gunbearer. Works with a pack. I had it out Sunday, carries hands off and deploys instantly though I'll have to practice that bit. I got sick of the slipping off too and in the worst country wanted to free my hands. Also like to use my binos with two hands, Etc.
$36+ picked up at factory in Wheat Ridge, CO. There's a pretty good demo video from Kifaru on you tube. Let me know what you think.

I like wide slings. I sewed a large button on my hunting vest. You can sew it on the right or left side on top of your shoulder.

the claw contour works great on my max1 predator and vsf Remington as well both a little front heavy to say the least

No, it does not. And you can adjust the shoulders separate from each other. This way, the rifle hangs at an angle vs straight down.

Lots of field pictures, here.

And Tim T has them available. You won't find a better fella to work with.

I own 4 neoprene butler creek slings they dont slip off and absorb some shock from my 15lb rifles. I like the looks of the eberlestock

That looks like it would work. I get equally annoyed by my sling not only trying to slip off but also my rifle trying to tip back. If the straps were adjusted right this looks like it would prevent both of these problems. Thanks for all the replies guys. Any others?
