Have a 1995 GMC S-15 Jimmy. Bought it a couple years ago for my daughters first vehicle. Older couple had it and towed it behind there moble home. Had 80,000 showing on odometer when we bought it, of which 50,000 were tow miles. Now is showing 104,000, so it only has about 54,000 on the motor and trans. Have since given daughet our 2003 trailblazer and Jimmy has become mine. Keeps miles off my 04 2500 4x4 and will make a neat little hunting wagon. Has the vortec 4.3 v6 which has plenty of power for it's size vehicle. Averages 20-21 mpg running the ac. Still has 15" tires, so won't cost an arm and a leg when I go to put some aggressive tires on it before hunting time. This thing has skid plates from the front bumper back to the fuel tank, and when you put it in 4x4, all wheels pull, not just two like some so called 4x4's. Still need to make my receiver hitch shooting chair before weather starts cooling off and get started yote hunting.Only thing I really need for it is a set of front tow hooks. They were taken off when the tow bar was installed and not put back on when it was removed. So if any one has a set laying around and want to get rid of them, let me know.
