Beyond Belief!

BCB,

ROFLMSAO!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You got me there... It's certainly a 22 caliber rifle but I bet it's got an 8" or 9" twist and that he uses 69-80 grain bullets....

Essentially 243 weight bullets out of a 22 caliber hole.

But either way... You certainly got me there... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

"ROFLMSAO" - I thought you said you were a Yankee at heart somewhere on PM yesterday?

The 22-243 is made both ways for different purposes. Some folks like the regular twist for high velocity with 50-55 grain length bullets - others use the fast twist barrels (7" or 8" twist) for the LONGER bullets for long range work. However, with either a slow or fast twist barrel, it would kill coyotes about like a 22-250 or a 220 Swift - or like some smaller .224" cases that can also have slow or fast twist barrels attached.

Actualy the 9" twist barrel is a pretty good compromise for both classes of .224" bullets - short and long.

With John's background in long range shooting, you could be right on the fast twist. - BCB

Dang,

Caught me again... Yankee by birth but southern by the Grace of God!

I'm certainly not accepted as a local or an equal by the Florida natives in the rural areas.

It's really a strange situation full of contriditions but suffice it to say that I am and always will be a visitor in rural Florida but I love it and will likely stay here the rest of my life except for frequent hunting forays.

Yep... Fast twist 22 caliber barrels are some of my favorites and I have several of them here. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yep guys John shoots an 80 gr bullet in a fast twist barrel.

Id hunter in case you didn't catch it in my fist post I was the one that took your order for "Beyond Belief"

To John Burns,

I apologize if I got my facts wrong that you didn't work for them but were a partner. And for implying that you did not build the rifles you shoot, that was not my intention.

However, the fact remains that they are building rifles. And somebody there has the ability to create a proper shooting system. I have shot one of them. Like always there are always two sides to every story, I have not heard yours. I do not have a dog in this fight, I just wanted folks to know about a company that is building some nice rifles, sorry for making you mad.

By the way whatever the situation you have with WRP, Best of the West is a great show.

Now if I could just get one of those folks to send me one of those scopes for additional field testing, I would certainly appreciate it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif

Wyote,

Yes... I caught it but was packing for a trip and didn't get a chance to respond. You ALSO were interesting to talk to and I look forward to getting my video. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Just received a shipment of the "Beyond Relief" dvds - I must say - "WOW.." Gents the video lives up to it's title for sure.. Loved the 1,078 yard on film coyote kill. The 1,000+ yard elk & antelope one shot kills were impressive as well.. Well done video - got me very interested in the "shooting system".

good hunting,

AP
