big and tall guys speak up

I'm 6' and about 270lbs. I wear a 2x everthing. My waist is only about a 38, and I do have a gut, but I'm Barrel Chested also. Jackets are a problem with me, I can't stand them tight around the middle or the chest area. I usually get at least a 2x, but I'm not above getting a 3x if the fit is right.

I stopped wearing pants because they just don't fit right anymore. At age 41 my gut is bigger than my butt and pants just slide off me.

So, I wear bibs, both denim and camo. I get my denims at Bucheit's in Festus, Mo. either Big Smith or Key. They have the best selection at reasonable prices. I started buying my camo from sportsmans guide, they are cheaper than anybody else, but finding 2x is sometimes a problem no matter where I look.

My biggest pet peeve about buying big man's clothes is having to pay extra for a 2x,3x,and so on. Why do WE have to Pay More just because we are a little bigger? I feel like we are being discriminated against just because God added a little more clay to us than he did the guy who's making our clothes.

That guy is probably 5'6" and 145lbs.??

Hey Bluto. Here is a link to Bucheit's store locations. They are scattered all around Missouri, there's probably one reasonably close to you? They usually have a Good selection on Big ans Tall sizes in both everday clothing and camoflage clothing.

I'm 6'2" about 178lbs., 58" chest, 23" neck, 40" waist. BIGGEST problem, 32" inseam, all backbone! Most bibs about immasculate me! Button down shirts, that fit my neck and gut, end up with the cuffs about 4" past my finger tips.
All my camo is special order from the U.S., nothing close up here!

boots are not to hard to find in 13
any pant with 38 inseam is a B***ch to find

The "Cabela's" brand of camo pants are unhemmed, but sewn at the bottom. They are about 37" inseam.

I had a pair of the Cabelas brand pants they work

Now I wear gators everywhere so the length is not that important
for hunting anyway

casual clothing and business stuff is still tough to get in anything that is comfy and doesn't show 4inches of bird ankle when I sit down

thanks for the input im sure we helped out others also

bass pro in springfield mo i found 3xlt uninsulated bibs that fit pretty good and had sizes up 5X. their outlet store next door had t-shirts up to 5X, and found some 4Xlt shirts also (really cheap 4.52).
