They are nice aren't they; very repeatable. I picked up an old 8X and it sits on my favorite deer rifle, a Pre-64 Win. in 30-06. The 1/3 MOA clicks take a bit of getting used to, however.

hm,,,,,,,,,,,,You are a man of good taste. Those old U.S. made Redfields are still hard to beat.
I had to send mine to that outfit in Florida (can't think of their name right now) for a tune-up and Nitrogen refill a couple of years ago. Cost $70.00 and I figure I'm good for another 25 years or more.
That 700 in my pic is my best Rifle and wears my most Low-Tech scope. I have some Lupolds and a Zeiss that are no clearer.... They do beat it out in low light, but not by much. I rarely shoot rodents at night anyway....
