The Harris and Caldewell are too short. The Vanguard's look ok but I still don't know if they'll hold a gun in the upright position.
I use diaphram calls. Both of my hands are free to hold my rifle/shotgun.
My rifle/shotgun are up and at the ready (sholdered), not on the ground or in my lap. So, no, it doesn't get tiring. The bipod carrys most of the weight.
Of corse, I don't hunt at night, Yet. However, I do know that, due to the workload, it is a two man job.
