Black and unusual coyote gallery

Believe it or not,but i actually seen a pack of four black coyotes run across the road in front of me yesterday morning.Until then i have never seen a black coyote,i thought they were a myth.maybe i will get a pic of them... they were crossing my driveway, and where they were heading there is two dead cows, keeping my fingers crossed...p.s. it must be very rare to see four black coyotes right?I have also see a albino deer and squirrel.

I'm only using those that stand out. Some of them may have stood out, but the picture or the angle of the pictures does not show it.

Would this one qualify? I think it is a coyote but I'm not certain.

The black coyote was shot during an evening set (5:30pm). Weather finally calmed down as we had high winds for most of the day. Earlier that morning I had called in two coyotes (one being black) for my partner. However, he could not pull the trigger as they were too close (kind of caught him off guard). So, I decided to try another area that holds coyotes on a regular basis that evening. I prefer to take a stand that gives me the edge on any potential yotes that might come in and tip the scales in my favor. Set up is vital!!! This set was a favorite of mine. It is basically a large "bowl shaped" area with several high points to get a good view of the whole area. Wind was steady out of the NW and speaker was placed in a brush pile about 50yd away (crosswind to our position). After 8-10 minutes of calling, I could hear snow crunching from my right and turned to see two coyotes working their way down the hill and into the basin of the bowl. They never sensed anything was wrong and came at a steady pace. The black one stood out and was easily a good half size bigger than the lead dog. At 55yd I centered the crosshairs on the chest of the black yote and made my Cooper 220 swift scream. He dropped like checkers. The other yote started to run and my partner let one go with a clean miss. It was very rewarding to see the puzzle come together and finish with such a beautiful animal.
