Black Coyotes?? Pics....

I once killed an unusually light coyote, kind of a cream coloration. But I've never seen a dark phase like these pictured.
 
hey krusty for whats its worth i i know this hunter that saw saw 2 black cougers recently by northbend also my boss saw either a black fox or dog ever hear of these poor hungrey creaters not many pe ople know born to hunt forced to work

Often claimed but NEVER proven. When I say never I mean as in never ever. Just a historical fact. Melanistic (black) leopards and jaquars have been proven to exist, but not mountain lions.
