Blazer vains for lower poundage bows?

My gf needs new arrows for her bow, but seems like everyone locally carries just blazer vains.

She's currently running a 2007 or 2008 Diamond - Black Ice @ 45lbs. She runs a whisker biscuit. I'm not sure if that will matter or not.

I've never shot blazer, so I'm clueless on the subject.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am of no help, but I know blazers at 70 lbs work quite well. I will check with an archery nut buddy and see if he knows though.

Don't hold me to it, but I think the blazers should be fine.I really don't see why they would cause any problems for her, at 58-60 like I'm shooting, they are fine.I'm no expert, just my opinion.

Mike, Jen is shooting blazers @ 50# on a 25.75" arrow and 100 gr head. These are on alum arrows. Just making up a couple new carbons to try and see how they shoot.

BTW, She is also using a drop away rest.

The Blazer Vanes will work fine at 45 lbs. My office manager shoots them on gold Tip 35-55 arrows and she has killed the largest elk of our group and several book coues deer. She has scored on good animals more consistantly than me or her husband so I wouldn't hesitate to use them.

You will love the blazers... Just and idea , but you could buy the bare shafts and get some of the shrink tube style wraps with vanes!! You can get pink , women love those ... I even have 6 of them myself...

My wife would love those!!

She just got a new Styker crossbow for this year. She never shoots the compound. She never wants to practice to use it effectively.

But, bright side, the crossbow netted me a new gun!!

Sara, my gf, has shot some impessive groups with the arrows so far with her bow. I'm hopeing she'll be able to stick a doe, or a buck this fall.

I've looked at a few crossbows, but it's too much like gun hunting to me. No skill needed.

Been shooting Blazers for years, love them. I can't figure out how the little suckers will stabilize a broadhead, but they do.
Those are some pretty pink arrows you got there, Uncle Ted would be proud!!
