Does anyone have experiance using a pop up blind for coyote or fox hunting.I was told for turkey huntng you could put them in the middle of a field and it would work, but they said for deer it has to be in a little cover.I was jst wondering what everyone thinks. Thanks in advance for any replies PimC.

PimC,

Pop up blinds would realy be more of a detriment than and asset. The added weight to carry, added noise, wasted time, more motion to potentially get you busted, decreased visability are just a few that I can think of off the top of my head. Calling stands rarely last for over 30 minutes and your off to the next. Sitting still for 30 minutes should not be problem. To my way of thinking you would be better off to travel light and quite, and set up fast without a pop up blind.

Byron is right. Too much trouble and a pain in the a$$ if it gets windy. Sit still and enjoy 360 degree visibility. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
