went out about 5:30pm, just west of st. boni. Sat in a old cow pasture with a few trees over looking a swamp.
Started with a few howls, very faintly i heard a couple howls back, next we started with some fawn squalls. 45 minutes later 2 came out of the swamp about 400 yards, then i started on the sphyco tweety. got them to stop and turn, when they were within 300 yrds i went to the mouse squeaker taped to my 243.
The one came peaked his head over the hill about 60 yrds or so looking right at me, all of a sudden 15 deer came running right between us ,but that didnt even phase that yote, couldnt get a clean shot, and it turned away down the hill out of vision. i figured theyed go back the same way they came in, sure enough one popped up at 300yrds, took one shot and he dropped.
took 2 shots at the 2nd yote on a dead bolt run,but missed

nice looking coyote you have there. are you going to get a rug or a full body made from that coyote?
