"Blu-ray" / HD Coyote Hunting DVD - Feedback Request

Just to carry on with the discussion, all my video was shot in 1080i. I think Byron and Al have brought up some good points and explained the differences very well. I still think this is one of those areas that involves many factors in order to get the best HD picture out there. The brand and type of HD T.V. is probably the most important followed by type of BR player, editing, etc. As far as progressive and interlaced go, I know that a lot of the new HD t.v.'s have a built-in "de-interlacer" that will convert interlace to progressive. Still, it's all going to boil down to personal preference. As long as great coyote footage was filmed in HD, edited in HD, and burned onto a BR disc, people will be able to experience coyotes coming to the call on their t.v.s like never before!!

P.S. Glad you liked the video preview, Chubby!

Good posts Byron and while I agree with much of what you posted, it's a matter of preference and the type of footage shot. I too have tested many clips in multiple formats, the problem with that is that I tested the material I shoot/produce not what everyone watches all the time. The difference is frames versus fields obviously but it depends on what I'm watching as to what I expect as a viewer.

In any case, I'll keep my eyes peeled for your project and wish you the best.
