Bob Connell, Texas Predator Posse forum

I’m catching up on here since being away so long. Saw where Bob Connell had some health issues a while back and just wondering if he recovered and how he’s doing. I followed his board years ago as well (TPP). Was another great place to read, listen and learn about predator calling/hunting.
 
No idea about Bob aka Bobcat. Ever since he moved the forum to Facebook, I stopped keeping up with TPP. I know some of the old forum members use to be on here but haven't seen any of them post in a while.
 
I have been wondering about Bob, as well. He posted here a few years ago, as well. Not sure if this is the Bob Connell, but afraid it is, as I know he was from central Texas and TPP seems to have gone inactive around 2004.

That's definitely not Bob Connell that ran the TPP and went by calypso here on PM.

He's still got some health issues, but I do not talk to him personally. I am friends with a mutual friend that is local to him and he keeps me somewhat in the loop from time to time. About a month or so ago I was down there visiting with this friend, and he confirmed for me that his health issues are syncope related, where he'll black out and randomly fall. I do not believe he's working full time any longer, and his old Facebook profile got hacked by some swindlers, so he changed to a new one under Bobby Connell.

Well that answers my next question. TPP moved to FB…been trying to pull it up on the ‘net and no luck…it’s sad but that seems the way of the world today, ie, social media platforms like FB. I left 4+ years ago and don’t miss it one bit. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the info. I’m sad to hear he’s still having health issues. I sure did enjoy that forum, much like here, and learned a lot although there’s a lot of guys I used to see on here that aren’t any longer, whether health related, jobs, or have passed away. I guess we all have lives and stuff happens, me included. But glad to see this forum is still going.
