Bobcat attacks our turkey decoy

We didn't get a turkey on this morning but we got to see something super cool. We had a single hen decoy out in a fairly thick area. We saw the bobcat approaching from about 60 yards out. The bobcat was about 20 yards from the decoy when he spotted it. It took him 20 minutes to stalk the final 15 yards. He would creep forward a couple feet moving in ultra slow motion then just set and watch for a few minutes. The wind was blowing 10-15 mph and our decoy had limited motion to it from the breeze. The bobcat approached to about 5 yards before pouncing. All we had to film with was a cell phone and neither my wife or I had ever used a cell to video. I was starting and stopping mine because I didn't know how much memory storage I had. I completely missed the attack with my cell but my wife captured the event on her's. We had a friend a couple miles away kill a coyote coming to his call the same morning. The cat looked at us before he left like "I hope nobody saw that".

Bobcat season went out here the end of Feb. so it was catch and release only for kitties, even dumb ones. Coyotes are year round.

Heck yeah, that's awesome! Gotta love those cats
