Bobcat Calls

I don't know if this is the most appropriate forum for this question so MODERATOR feel free to move it if necessary: Is/are there such a thing as bobcat calls? I would imagine that rabbits-in-distress would pull them in but do they have calls peculiar to the breed such as kitten meows, cat screeches and challenges, breeding calls, etc. If so, who makes these? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Joe I would look into getting you a bitereed! When I'm targeting cats I'm on a bitereed most if the time.. They will call all types of predators , not just cats !

Can't believe no one else have chimed in here! I don't use too many meows or any other cat vocals! I blow a bite reed just like any other call , the only difference is I control the pitch with teeth pressure. It just has a certain sound that really gets cats going! You can some crazy sounds out of them. They make for a great coaxer too,on the tip you can get highpitch wines at low volume!! Grey fox can't resist them either!!

I don't target bobcats, so that's why I hadn't spoken up.He he

TT used to make an open reed geared towards cats, Called the "Feline Frenzy", but it's no longer made.
And ArkyYoter used to make one he called the "Kat Kaller", but he's no longer on this forum.
But, I would agree with TJ that a bite reed callwould probably work great...something similar to the Primos "Catnip".

Judging from the Verminator DVDs, Rick's "Syco Tweety" is outstanding for bobcats!
And I'd bet that his new "Twisted Syco" will be even more productive on them.

i'm with verminator call's. great sound's for bobcat's on there video. those are good videos if you want to call bobcat's.Rick

I called one recently with a TC diaphragm. Torry definitely makes some that kick out some serious rasp. The fang cut distress diaphragm will make you want to stick a hot poker in your ears.

Torrys calls do sound Awsome, they are the only diaphragms I will use!!

My vote is for the TC diaphragms. I can get all kinds of prey distress sounds out of them, & cat vocals too. They're my go to call for all predators, cats included.--BenJimmy
