bobcat or mtn lion

here is another, there are always wise guys that say it looks like there grandmothers cat etc. the ***** with them. where is Hartwick New York, Im not sure of exact location.

These are Bobcats!

I'd say lion. The tail in the photos is huge. Bob cats have short tails. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

There is no question in my mind that is a mountain lion/cougar. Long tail that curves upward is pretty tale tale sign. The spots on it dont mean a thing, I have a cougar rug on my wall that has spots on it and it is a 130 lb cat. Cougar have spots at birth and it takes a few years for them to all go away. 100% positive it is a mountain lion.

I have a ML rug that has spots also,but hes about 50 pounds,boy is it a pretty rug!
