Can a bobcat be skinned from the mouth?

What do you mean? Are you wanting to sell the fur? If so you need to skin from the back legs forward.

You can start the mouth just like a coyote but then need to go from the other side

I was just curious. My father said after he got out of the marines in 1945 the fur buyers wanted mink skinned from the mouth. I think he said coons also, but I may not be remembering correctly.

Okay, if I do call a cat, should I skin as far as possible from the mouth for better results around the eyes and ears?
No more than I skin, those are the problem areas for me.

They get what's called "case" skinning.

You cut from the inside of the rear foot , then to it's anus, then to the other inside rear foot, skin/pull out feet,legs, tail....then unwrap and pull the skin over it's body like unwrapping a sock.
Watch be careful in the arm pits...pull out front legs,,,,
Then both front feet must be cut/skinned out but only when you see the foot pad area.
Keep skinning/pulling to the head....watch for the ears.....cut them as close to the skull as possible, same for the eyes, mouth.

You ever use an air hose to loosen the hide before skinning? I saw it on YouTube and it seemed to work pretty well for him. That one time.
