bobcat state?

nightwatchman, don't for get about the state due north of you. michigan has a growing number of cat's and they can be hunted in both the l.p. and the u.p. there is a small catch but the tag's are free as long as you pick up a fur harvister lic.. the catch is in the l.p you can only shoot or trap one cat a season but in the upper you can take 2. the season run's from october 15th till either the end of febuary or march some time (i can't remember right now for sure but i think it's the end of febuary). in the lower you can only hunt them in cirtin county's though. manly the county's that can be hunted start's about the middle of the state, but some of the westren county's we can't hunt them. i have seen a ton of track's around my area and last season i called one in but was in one of them county's to the west where we can't shoot them. michigan all so has a ton of state land, but getting permishion to hunt privet land for predator's is not all that hard either. if you come up this way i am all way's looking for a hunting partner and would be willing to show you around and do some calling if you want. i all so knoe of some place's in the upper to call one being a island that has a large number of cat's. drop me a line if you dicided to hunt up this way.
bow
