Me an a buddy went out hunting last night. Our first stand will be one I wont forget about. Called in a pair of bobcats and a pair of coyotes within the first few mins

Buddies lrf wasnt giving a consistent reading an didnt give the coyote near enough hold for the distance he was actually at the first shot but 2nd shot connected at over 520 yards according to onX line distance when we marked locations at both spots... the next 4 spots we blanked and decided to head home for the night

Great video! That's way cool. Never get to see that during the day, for sure.
Closest I've come in 25 years of calling, was set up at a cattle guard (yellow x) looking down a two track through some really thick brush one evening, when a bobcat burst out of the brush, stopped in between the ruts and was looking back at the call and decoy (white c). I dropped the cat and still had the rifle shouldered when a coyote came out of the brush in a big hurry, running while looking over his shoulder at the decoy when he tripped over the dead cat. He fell to the ground, jumped up and was looking back to see what had tripped him when the second shot ended his curiosity. Strange double but never quite figured out if he was chasing the cat or just running from the sound of my first shot?

I’ve called in more bobcats with Pup Distress vs Prey Distress. Don’t know if they’re coming out of curiosity or to help kill some pups.
Ive had a few bobcats come in to pup distress but for the most part its always when playing bird distress or mfk cot tail sauce when I see them... im calling them in accidentally I guess you could say since im targeting coyotes only
