Bog-pod shooting sticks are they worth the $?

I've been thinking of upgrading my shooting sticks and have been looking at the Bog-pods. For those of you that have them are they worth the money?

They are nice, but I think they are a little heavy, but they have a lot of optional accessories you can buy.

I prefer the Stoney Point Expedition Polecat sticks. You can use them either sitting or standing, they weigh 18oz vs. 28oz for the Bog Pods, and the Bog Pod is about $100, where the Stoney Point Polecat is about $60. They are equally steady, but for price and weight and versatility, gotta go with Stoney Point.

Got some bog pods with some duracoat on them, they have yet to aid in a killing, but they look and shoot great!

You can make your own out of two Dow rods and a good rubber band and won't cost you a arm and a leg. I use my own and they work great.

I've got a set that sit in the garage I like my stoneypoint sticks better.

Stoney point gets my vote. Less money and lighter. Plus you don't have the red handle sticking out like a sore thumb.

I got the bog-pod tri pod. Really like it. Took a few animals with it, have yet to miss when using them. I will say they are a little pricey.

With all the money and time we have invested it makes sense to put it all to good use on a set of sticks that pivot 360 and adjustable to most any hunting situation.Are they worth it? I think so. They have many different styles to chose from but here is my choice,
