Bolt handle replacement

I was thinking after the holidays and my funds build back up a little, I would like to have the bolt handle replaced on my XP-100 rifle. It has the factory "dog leg" handle on it now. Who should I check with to get it replaced? I would just like a straight handle and a larger knob. I just don't know where to look.

Bill, when you say replaced are you talking about just the bolt handle?

Yes, just the handle. It will need to be silver soldered on.

Seriously, put your bolt in a USPS flat rate box (insure it) & you’ll have it back in about a week. Dan does excellent work. Has done thousands of bolts.

Is there a page for instructions for what measurements are required? Does the action need to be sent also

Ackleyman recommends Dan as well. I need to call him. I was curious as to the action being sent as well to make sure the timing would be correct. Sounds like its not a problem and all he needs is the bolt.

No page. You must call him for instructions on how to measure. It’s very simple & guarantees proper timing.

You do not need to send the action, only the bolt.
