Just came out on video yesterday and we watched it last night (as it didn't play in any of my local theaters

). I thought it was as good (or better) as the first. I can't wait till they make another sequel (fingers crossed) as they left the door wide open. Any other Saints fans around here?

Loved the first one! Just saw on the TV the other day that the second one was coming out, figured it wasn't gonna be very good... assumed that after the great reviews of the first they would at least hit the theaters with it. I might have to find this movie somewhere now.

It did play in the theaters, but in a limited release (only a few hundred theaters). Don't know why they only did the limited release but I wasn't willing to drive four hours to see it. It is a good movie though!

I'm a big fan of the original and look forward to seeing the second. I remember hearing a radio interview with Billy Connolly a couple years ago that said there was a big fight over who owned the rights to the sequel. I'm not sure, but that may have something to do with the limited theatrical release. Or they could just be hoping to make a lot more on dvd sales for a second cult hit.

Fan of the first. I was looking forward to the second one comming out. Just heard a couple days ago that it's at my video store. Haven't had a chance to get it yet, but plan too.

First Movie was about as good as it gets.

The second movie was entertaining but nowhere near as good in my opinion.

What the second movie did do though was answer allot of questions from the first, give a good back story on the characters which wasn't done in the first and most definitely leave a wide open door for an outstanding 3rd movie.

With the way they left the door open, the success of the first movie and all the question answering and character building they did in the second, they have a great open platform to make a quality action flick in the third.

They wont have to spend any time answering questions or closing plot lines. They can just make a good action flick filled with gratuitous violence for us to enjoy.

Cant wait.

I got to see it this weekend. It was a hoot. Although you'd need to see the first one in order to get most the jokes.
