Bow Hunter killed my friend's bird dog this morning

I am an avid bowhunter and there is no excuse for what happened to your friends dog. Any Hunter should of recognized the breed as a hunting breed and to have shot that dog on public land no less is reprehensible. I admire you and your buddies restraint at the time and not escalating the situation, I don't think I could have done that.

260, since my last post my mind has drifted back to your friends loss many times. As a dog lover and owner, I don't know how to describe my emotions.

After some thought, had that been one of my dogs...well lets say my future would be in the hands of a grand jury by now.
 
I am a bow hunter and the [beeep] that shot your dog gives us all a bad name. I hope your friend can get some retribution. I will never bring back the dog but my help to ease the loss. Sorry to hear about this senseless act.
