I'll take some punishment over this /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif, I have been shooting a PSE Firestorm for about 7 years. I have a Tru-glo 3 pin sight, Whisker biscuit B-2 rest, Alpine Archery softlock quiver, Tru-ball tornado release, Beman ICS hunter arrows fletched with white 3" vanes and crested with white ez-eye wraps, and Crimson Talon original broadheads in 100gr., conventional large diameter peepsight, a string loop and a just about everything Simms Vibration Labs makes. It has served me very well and hasn't cost me a fortune. My longest kill was 60 yds on a yearling doe with several in the 45 yd range. I guess I have taken about 10 deer with it and it is still kickin'. My buddy got a Hoyt Trykon, real close to the Vektrix, he loves it, and it is screamin' fast and quiet /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif.
Like to mention, you don't always get what you pay for, look at Windows Vista, newer and more expensive isn't always better. If cheaper is durable and more comfortable, it doesn't make sense to drop $1200 or more in a bow that you don't like for name sake. Make sure you buy a bow, not a name tag. When I bought, I got what I could afford at the time and what felt good, turns out I can afford to spend more now and would buy the same one again.
