Boyds stocks

Even if no one twisted my arm to buy it...it doesn't make it right for them to charge the same to ship a stock as it does to ship a trigger guard. You need to do some more homework...particularly math. It's admirable that you never order online...good for you.

Yep I get it, I called them and they corrected it. It was pretty darn easy. They admitted that it was a mistake.

I will call them after the holidays. The lady I talked to on the phone said shipping would be $9. She told me this several times in the course of our conversation...then when the bill showed up they had charged me $16.88.

Not to hijack this thread any further, and back to topic...I really like my boyds stock. I pillar bedded it and will be glass bedding the action later today. .204 Ruger for some late winter coyote hunting.

They definitely got you for a few bucks. Try calling after the holidays and see if they won't make it right with you. They USUALLY are pretty good to deal with. They shipped a stock to me for free because they screwed up on the delivery time.

I'm terrible at remembering names, but if a lady answers the
phone, be NICE! She will react "in kind" to whatever attitude
the caller has. I have gotten along with her just fine over a
couple of mistakes, but others have gotten no satisfaction after
reading her the riot act.

I’ve been wanting to swap out my cheap plastic stock on my Savage 220 slug gun. Might have to give a Boyd’s thumb hole a try! Don’t really know of anyone else making something for the 220 anyway?
