Branded Logo ID?

Anyone in this large pool of callers recognize this logo? They came from a Western Kansas estate sale. The previous owner was a game warden who passed away about 10 years ago. Thanks

I took a screenshot of the first one and let google search the image and asked who the maker of this game call was and got this response. No idea on the accuracy, but the location matches the area of the sale.

The maker's mark on the game call in the selected region is the branded logo for Ed Terpining Game Calls.[1]
The logo features a stylized, circular brand representing the craftsman's initials, "ET". Ed Terpining was a highly regarded custom game call maker from Kansas, known for hand-turning functional predator, coyote, and turkey calls. [1]


My eyes can’t see an E T though, maybe if the E is turned down??

Yeah, I tried that too but never found any significant leads. I got a different names on the same shot, dependent on how I asked the question. Then I opened a whole new can of worms by rotating the images to the 4 different clock positions and asking again.

I keep trying though.

Yeah, the google artificial intelligence may not be so intelligent in this subject matter. I entered the exact image and question again and it said it was a duck call from “Chick” Major in Arkansas.

Well I picked up three of the 8 calls available. They are surprisingly really good calls. They kind of remind me of some of the earlier Rhino calls Uncle Jay made. They are light in the hand, appear to maybe have an oil rubbed finish and surprisingly hand tuned to perfection. You can tell they were made back in the day to use and probably before anyone really cleaned up the inside of the mouth piece and barrel.

I’m seriously contemplating picking up a few more. Maybe one day we’ll find out who made them.
