APC, now you can include the Carnivore Magnum 2 to that group.

And the Dereelight Nightmaster V2 seems to get overlooked. It can be set to one"extreme" mode or three "low, med, high" mode, also the heads are interchangeable from 53mm to 70mm.

Are the LEDs changeable by customer?Don't know. I have his original light for three years and have not had to replace a LED. You would have to ask the business owner.
what is the warranty? Not sure, again you would have to ask the business owner.
For that price did it include adjustable scope mounts, batteries, charger, storage case? No, just the light but you can purchase them on the site.

I just know the thing works and works well.

Thanks guys.. I think that i will have to seriously take a look at it again.. This state doesn't allow sitting in the back of the truck when calling..

So small light, and not wearing a SLA battery in a fanny pack is important.

The other thing is that they just changed it to allow centerfire instead of shotgun only. That was so dumb.

I usually drive out there in the middle of no-where and just camp where the sun goes down.. It would be nice to call a little more and put some more fur in the truck to cover the cost of the gas.

Not sure it this is anywhere else. But since we are on the topic of lights

How do you suggest, or what type of set ups, work best, IN Your Opinion, for single hunters?

I was thinking of a hockey helmet mounted light and a Gun light.
But would be interested in you Opinions.

1. 62 inch shooting sticks. You stand with rifle fore grip resting in the yoke of the sticks. Rifle stock resting against shoulder.

2. Scope mounted light

3. If using a ecall place it out in front of you 15-20 yards

4. Hand held scanning light. Continuous scanning in a 180 degree arc in front of you. Using wide defused lower intensity beam. Once you catch eyes, transition to your weapon mounted light.

AP

night eyes headlamp style scanning light works wonders here. and I have their gun light mounted on the scope. both are powerful lights in nice small packages that weigh next to nothing and are PLENTY POWERFUL

I used a handheld and rifle mount set up for the past 20 years.Last year I switched to a headlamp for scanning and hated it at first, now I won't hunt without it. I still carry a xlr250 w/ folding grip but it's for back up mostly.

Just like APC said but I prefer a head mounted scanning light because I also use a lot of hand calls and I need at least one hand to operate them. Unless I am using a diaphragm call.

THat is a great solution.. Thanks for sharing that one.

It looks like it deals with the Halo that people talk about and is just simple.
