When they BSA scopes first became available here in Ohio, a friend who owned a gunshop at the time sold them. The first four he sold came back for repair/replacement. That's when he stopped selling them.

Optics really are one of the few things that you get what you pay for. That's not to say you may get one that is very clear and durable, but don't count on it lasting, particularly on a gun with a lot of recoil. And, don't count on it holding zero as you rotate through the range of power settings.

There's a reason for the scopes being sold cheaply, and it's not just because of lower labor costs in China.
