Forget that idea.I got the classic donut pattern when I tried 3" 4 buck in my 835 with that choke. What you want is Kicks High Flyer XF.This choke is .748 which in lead shot terms is Mod as opposed to steel shot terms.I shot this combo with Win's 3 1/2" 4 buck and it worked beautiful.I also tried Kicks Howler H tube at .745 but it's just a shade to tight. The Howler H shot OK with 3" 4 buck loads but it's at it's best with 2 3/4" shells. It also patterned great with tungsten shot.FYI-Kicks said this is the tightest of their chokes we can use with tungsten or Hevi shot in the 835.
I usually get best performance from the large buckshot (00 & 000) with either a Modified or Improved Modified. That is .020" - .025" constriction from the particular bore size of the gun in question. The hugely overbore Mossberg is a nominal .775" bore.

I tried 3 of Mbergs Accumag chokes before buying the Kicks-The IC .765,Mod .750 and Full .730.The Mod worked best but though close in constriction there's no comparison to the results I got with Kicks XF.Next best was the High Flyer Full .755 with the Howler H coming in third.I tried both 2 3/4" and 3" 4 buck and 2 3/4" OO buck through the 3 Accumags. You might want to try Federal's Premium 3" copper plated lead BB load through that Ulti full.Great combo!
