buffer spring noise

Thanks for the info Hangtime ! Do you combine that with an adjustable gas block perchance? I got a AR that I think is cycling a little too emphatically.. [/quote]

Bowfisher, I'm sorry I can't help you re: the gas block, as all mine have the A2 front site. You and I have corresponded on several things in the past here, and one of the things I appreciate about you is it seems you're not afraid to push the envelope. DON'T CHANGE !!!!!

ETA: Bowfisher, why not call Tubbs on the link I supplied earlier in this thread, and describe the symptoms you're having. I'm telling you, that staff of his are SHOOTERS, and they know what they're talking about. Bet they can resolve your problem. Good luck !!!!!

Hangtime, or anyone for that matter, what exactly is "muzzle flip"

Thanks Hangtime, will do. I tried to send you a PM but I see you got that feature blocked.

lampy, if you've ever shot a tuned, light-mass bolt system with a custom buffer along with it, side by side with a stock AR, you will be amazed at the difference. It's night and day. Way less gun movement...I'm assuming that's what HT was referring to.

You should see what happens when you do that up here, and it gets down to 10 degrees.
