Remington 700 22-250 I inherited from my father who passed a couple of years ago i decided to give it a new life having the stainless action blueprinted ordered a shilen 22 inch 1/7 select match grade 920 diameter barrel I have a timney target 2oz to 16oz already that was on the original rifle I’m having the a oversized bolt knob put on I found a carbon fiber I like just have to decide what chassis I’m going to go with I am thinking pretty hard on that KRG as it will not be a heavy stock but rifle will be hunting off a tripod any thoughts on something I should add before my gunsmith finishes up the work?

I run a 250 in a mdt lss, 20.5” heavy barrel. I want my rifle as heavy as possible… shooting a heavy bolt action rifle in .224 caliber off a GOOD tripod and good head is like cheating. lol. Do you handload I assume?

KRG Bravo is hard to beat ...I have one as well as my KRG X Ray with the enclosed arca front Rail ...
Love them !!

22 Creed at 22" hmmm ?? I'd go 24 minimal ..mine is a 26" it's built for speed so let it burn the powder ..

Here is my Xray chassis in 223 AI , even that is a 26"

I don’t think the KRG is that heavy. I love mine and probably will get more in the future. I’ve had XLR chassis, Orx, and a manners before but the KRG has stayed.

I just got a 20 inch 22 creed barrel for my wife’s Sig Cross. Ordered the 7.5 twist from Preferred Barrel Blanks. Hoping to push a 80 eldm around 3150fps.
