The pictures of Idaho and NC put it in perspective. I'm 63 and don't mind the weight of a heavy barrel. OH is pretty flat and my hunting doesn't involve walking more then 5 miles a day. But I'm not walking up and down mountains either.
I have to admit ground hog hunting in OH has been a lot of fun for me. The areas I used to hunt were meadows as far as the eye could see. The shots were close, medium and long. The only walking involved was picking up the kill.
The area I hunt now isn't meadows as far as the eye can see but still not a lot of walking.
