I'd go with .243 brass as well. Federal is just harder to find. As Leon has said...to do it RIGHT, the extra steps of fire forming, really isn't worth it TO ME. I have no doubt I'll get 8-10 reloads so I'm OK with spending $25 for a bag of 50.

I also agree with getting the proper brass. I tried necking up the fc 223 wssm brass to 25, and it was easily done by annealing and using a tapered expander. But it turned out I was getting donuts at the shoulder/neck junction and can't use them unless I ream the necks. Not worth it after all of that. In fact I have 300 cases I need to trade to some one with a 223 wssm.
I found the SSA ammo with a google search but now Im curious... Why a small primer ammo? and how can I be sure this is what Im getting? Again thanks for the great info. need all the help I can get
