BULLET SEATING?

I haven't got your rifle in front of me so I can't say, but I'd be surprised if you could get within a bull's roar of the lands using those light weights in a standard chambered 22-250. I use 55gr BKs. I know everyone likes using what they like using but I prefer to look at what the rifle was designed to shoot and 22-250s with a 14 twist are designed to shoot 55gr pills. Have a look at the ballistics. Your light pills are travelling faster, but really, there isn't that much difference and yet the heavier pills buck wind better, fly better, hit harder and don't burn the barrel as quick. On top of all that you might be able to seat .020" from the lands.
